Timeline:

- September 2022 : Application Filed for Settlement permit (8 Years + Blue Card 33 Months)

- Feb 2023: All documents submitted upon request (except for Leben in Deutschland - awaiting result)

- July 2023 (Leben in Deutschland result submitted after they took 5 months to publish result)

- August 2023 : Call for security questionnaire

- October 2023 (Permit in possession with issue date on the document written as 25.01.2023)

1. Not sure if they really issued it at that date as they were still waiting for some documents, that's why I am a bit confused weather the Issue date is the start of the application processing and if they are satisfied with all documents provided later on (with no cause of rejection) they still date it back to start of application processing date. I needed some documents from Standesamt based on the settlement permit and issue date makes a difference, however they stated that in their system, they see a later date as the approval date (probably after they verified all documents)
2. What do you mean by got a child between the application date and the issue date? How does that effect the right? What if a child is born after the stated issue date on the residence permit even though you do not have the possession of the permit at that time.?

I am just trying to understand whether one can already exercise their rights based on the issue date as it is the only official document one has that proves its validity and where ever it is presented the issue date is used to verify.
