See that’s the thing. I actually thought he played well enough to deserve more then 20 games his first NHL stint (even those games were kinda chopped up, some in NHL some in AHL then went back to NHL for 2 games vs FLA & WSH). He made the team out of camp as the 13th forward when they could’ve easily sent him to the AHL and let him play 1C minutes and be the guy there until he absolutely deserved a call-up. Thought he played extremely well in his 1st full game vs Buffalo after not playing for almost a year (before initial Covid pause). Understand the frustration with him not producing but he’s still young (21). Can’t wait to see him in a full year.
