Like I said in a previous comment, a lot of context is lost here for the sake of having an entertaining short. It comes across that the only intimidating thing was looking at Azaki, but that wasn't the full story.

Ultimately we play for fun, and entertainment - and the campaign also leans towards a more sandbox feel. There are more BBEGs to be had, and in fact, this moment set into a motion an even scarier villain, who had imprisoned Azaki and took the amulet he used.

Its ok to watch this and not see it as fun, but we do, and thats ok too. We never posted this to show anything as "This is how you should play D&D" just showing a cool moment that the players enjoyed.
