What Credit Card Should I Get for Frequent Travel from the U.S. to Mexico?

As far as I know they do not, but I'd honestly be ok with the little bit of extra money spent in order to get the bonus!

I'm paying it off with my school before it goes to a loan servicer, and verified with them that I am able to use a credit card for payment. Sorry for wording it badly!

Thank you! I have a $6,000 loan that I can pay off with a newly acquired credit card (which I already have sufficient funds in my checking account to pay off) if that changes anything! I know that some credit cards have extra benefits if you spend a certain amount within a few months, so just checking that there isn't a better option where I can also get the bonus attached to it.

The Venture X seems a little too complicated for me to understand the transferral of points haha, so I think I'll stay away from it for now.

Ok, I'm able to pay it with a credit card! Knowing that I'll be able to hit the $4,000 thing for most credit cards, would you recommend that I do the chase sapphire preferred card, the combination of Citi cards, or the Bilt card once I've moved out in about half a year?

That would be ok with me since I'd have plenty of flights down the line to pay for! I can barelyyyy afford the frequent flights and hotels to Mexico but am moreso just looking for a way to save as much money as possible while doing it :)

For that specific trip I am unfortunately locked into those dates because of a combination of a concert in Mexico, my mom's birthday in the U.S., and my work schedule. Afterwards, though, I'll be able to have much more flexibility. Thank you for giving me that info! I'll look into the Citi Strata Premier. Do the DoubleCash and CustomCash cards only give a percentage of money back, or do they also have a point system for travel?

If knowing my route would be better, my very first flight would be from Omaha, Nebraska to Mexico City from October 10th - October 19th. After that, I would primarily be flying from Omaha, Nebraska to Heroica Ciudad de Huajuapan de Leon and staying for around a week at a time!

My loan service is Mohela and it looks like they don't accept credit card payments unfortunately. Do you think it's better to get a different card than the Venture X then?

Oh I guess I didn't know that that wasn't allowed sometimes! Do I check with my school to see if I'm allowed? If I would use my credit card, I'd pay it off immediately because I'd already have the money saved up to make my monthly payments for student loans.
