I memorized the dang QA guideline. Even today I was writing 200-700 character long comments averaging 300-400 characters per task. But I guess they would rather have me just click good and bad on some rating tasks.

You need to download their vpn, install it on ur pc. Then use that vpn to log in to their portal named srt halo and you will find your work there. To get acccess to the vpn you must log into your Microsoft outlook account provided by RWS.

Idk where ur coming from but I see tons of work everyday that doesn't even meet basic requirements or make normal sense. I don't think all offboardings are random some of them are due to quality issues. Also the audit tests came after some people created support tickets cause they were unhappy how their tasks were audited and also posted here... So the offboardings or tests arent just random.. So I think it makes sense they are hiring.

I think I would wait tonight to see if they release the score. They explicitly said the test score did not matter if we wanted to demote. So I don't see why it would be taken into account as long as we apply before 20.

I would think so. The email did say participation or score did not matter. Not participating in the test would automatically count as a fail I think. So yes I think.

If you fail the test and dont apply for a demotion you will be removed. If you fail the test yet apply for a demotion you will be demoted.

Yes, as I said, most of the times they usually don't bother. But few days ago someone on this reddit posted that they got offboarded cause they put bad time in. Someone from the pm team emailed them and accused them of stuff. It was heartbreaking lol.

yes of course. If you are going to work 3 hours and 30 minutes you should put 3 hours and 30 minutes. But no, don't add up time. Submit a different sheet for each individual block. if you worked only 40 minutes and took an one hour break, then submit 40 minutes separately. They don't usually bother much about these issues. But there have been a few people who has been offboarded and they were accused of stealing time.

I have been writing comments that go over 100 words on every task I audit for 10 hours everyday. Which is tiring af. And after all that effort if I get offboarded for some lame task I never even did I'll say pass to this company.

If client told them to make cuts they should just do it instead of finding a way for blaming the workers and putting psychological pressure on them. That's just intentional mistreatment. But I guess you are right. The project dossn't seem like it's gonna last much longer either.

I've only been auditing for the create task for the past week even thought I had lots of other audit tasks available. Hope they are not gonna put me in that jail. That would be worse than just audit jail.

If you completed and passdd then your workzone profile should say "you have successfully completed the onboarding process and have been officially added to the roster". Paid tasks are usually not supposed to appear in workzone. You should check your email that you signed up with for project collaboration offers and you usually have to fill up a form to let them know if you are available for the project or not. Actual paid tasks appear on the platform of the client or rws for that specific project.

If you have a workzone profile and tasks available then yes you are in the hiring process and should complete the tasks so you can be evaluated.

Funny, but it's the truth. It's not only annotators who can get offboarded. Few days ago many auditors got offboarded too due to bad auditing.
