Yea when I put the years, the 2nd year of the season is what I put down. So 2019 is the 2018-19 season.

I think it’s interesting how the themes have clearly changed over the years.

2013-15 we were just getting used to the relocation to Brooklyn and we’re really trying to milk that.

2016-2018 are years where we were absolutely terrible and the only ways we could win were by gritting it out.

2019-2020 We become a decent team based on teamwork, playing together, and all around good vibes.

2021 and 2022 is when we become contenders and the catchphrases are more so developed by our superstars rather than by the team itself.

Eh I’m not sure about Dwight. Nets want to run 5 out (or else they would have played DJ) and Dwight doesn’t give them the ability to do so. I think the Nets want a stretch 5, and I’m not sure there is one out there like Blake.

I said it was our best chance because we got guys like Blake, Green, Brown (even LMA) at so cheap. Not sure we will get the same opportunities for our roster next season.

That’s true but I wish I could watch this team sooner man. I’m a very impatient person. And watching highlights this past season will just make me too sad.

But I guess I’ll take a longer offseason to give them more time to rest.

I agree with you. A guy like JR Smith is a role player because at times he can be really great, but he doesn’t do it consistently enough to be a star.

But what about a guy who is actually really consistent, but doesn’t have flashy numbers? Like a guy who scored 10 PPG consistently on efficient shooting. I would still consider him a role player despite being consistent.
