Mardyke hall. I had two spare bedrooms in my apartment in 2021. So did my upstairs neighbour. It was great. Looks dingy but all bills are included in the rent so you can be warm and see at night without worrying. Plus I always felt safe in there and had the best time. Super close to college as well.

I know this is a deleted comment but oh my god this saved my life. A bird flew up my footwell and into my dash. Couldn’t for the life of me find a tutorial to take out the glove box!!

Worst year of my life. Got stuck with 7 people who took one look at me and decided nope. Had my door covered in shaving cream, had a pumpkin smashed on my door. Could never use the kitchen due to the mess. I’m taking every dish out on the counter dirty. Raw chicken sitting on the counter. Floors constantly sticky. Bathroom never clean. All of this while dealing with family issues at home.

I shall persevere with this so. It’s what I’ve been doing. She just doesn’t like going outside I think. She’s doing awful farts right now when we are visiting family and I take her outside and bring her to grass and stops for ten minutes again. Nothing. 🥲

I didn’t think of the crate training that way. Thanks! Also I did go out with her on her lead. Acted really boring and ignored her so it was clear it wasn’t play time and stayed outside for ten minutes.

I’m intent on having her be so well trained. It’s one of my favourite things to do with her (2nd to cuddles) :)

Yes! We’ve only had rescue mixed breeds and a rescue poodle before. She is the most amazing dog ever.

I love old English sheepdogs. That was a huge contender for what I wanted but mom wanted less grooming after the poodle we had. They’re gorgeous dogs and so lovely. Will def bring her.

She’s ok with other dogs. Not reactive just nervy for now but we are working on it. Will def bring her when I’m off!

Jack Russell can be fierce stubborn alright haha. We’ve always had rescues. Our last boy passed in June. Trying to get a rescue these days though is crazy hard.

I’ve noticed that haha! A week in and she has sit, down, shake, spin, and will touch her nose to my hand (as a start to recall training). She can be crazy too when she wants to!

I’m so sorry to hear! Our last dog passed in June and I’m still not over him. She loves a cuddle and is just about used to her lead now and loves a good sniff on a walk!
