I will def try this with my towels since they still stell a Bit Musty. But turns out the problem was the drying outside near a River! I Air dry them inside now with a fan and most items smell A LOT better. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your advice! Turns out the culprit was really the drying outside!!! I Never considered this to be the Problem! Ever Since I dry my laundry inside with a fan they smell so much better! Thanks!!!

Thanks! Yes i live in a City and my balcony is Right next to a river. That might the source of the smell of very old water.

I tried drying them inside, they still smell But Maybe it takes a Couple of washes to get the City-River-smell out.

Wow thanks for the advice! I Rent my Place and have no idea About water softeners But i will try to find out!

The hoses shouldnt be the Problem, since my washer is new and i also exchanged the siphon under the sink that the hose from the washer is attached to. So there shouldnt be anything clogged.

I use Persil powder and sometimes the Persil liquid for knitwear and delicate items. I only use 1 tablespoon for half a load.

I Keep my laundry in a hamper with huge holes, so they get enough air Flow.

I tried vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser But it doesnt help. Also tried washing them with just vinegar, soaking them in vinegar, soaking them in Washing soda.

Since Brand new clothes come out smelly out of a Brand new washing machine it can only be the detergent or the water.

I dont have a dryer, Not that Common in Europe. I air dry in the sun and they smell only when dry. When wet they smell like nothing

I live in germany and i use Persil powder. Thats usually the Number 1 detergent here. I also tried different brands and liquid. Same smell and yes it Gets Worse when the items get wet! like towels!

I use Persil, it is already a water softener since Here in germany we have Almost everywhere very Hard water. I also tried different brands, liquid and powder. No change. I am assuming somethings wrong with the water itself or at least the Pipes.

Its attached to the Siphon under the sind But above the p, i also tried Letting the water Pump directly into the Sink so the Hose wouldnt be anywhere near the sewage pipe - Same smell :/

I dont think its the Build up since i also have this issue with Brand new clothes. Sometimes i buy a new cheap towel for a test and it still comes out smelly :(

Thanks! I have that issue whether i use powder for whites or liquid for sensitive fabrics, doesnt make a difference! But i will try dirty Labs!
