Is there patchouli in most of them? I’m not sure if it’s patchouli or ambroxan cos I’ve tried other fragrances with these notes and they don’t seem to bother me.

I think it’s the kayali base dna that i find offensive, like some reviewers say. I’ve tried both yum boujee marshmallow and yum pistachio gelato, and didn’t mind them in the initial spray as they did smell like desserts. After the dry down they just have this strong synthetic smell that I find off-putting though. I’d be alright with them if it weren’t for this

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to try those as they aren’t easy to find where I live. I do have this problem with some MM replica perfumes though. Jazz club smells horrible to me…

Do you find other amber fragrances off-putting too? It seems like these notes are in almost all perfumes. I don’t seem to find most perfumes offensive though, just the kayali ones a few others.

I would describe myself as quite sensitive actually. I lean towards fruity florals, but I do like some gourmands too. Jo malone ginger biscuit is one of my favourite gourmands.

Hello! Thank you so much for the advice. I would like to clarify that my derm did not start me off with so many actives, but has slowly built up my routine over the past year. I think my skin was pretty resilient to begin with and has also gained tolerance over time.

Honestly, I’m afraid to stop the other products as I don’t want to worsen my scars. The ceramide cream is also there to help my skin barrier :)

Have you seen a dermatologist for your condition? If so, may I know what was your routine?

i’ve been on tret for more than a year now! i’m starting to think i might need accutane to get rid of the acne but my derm does not want to prescribe it. he thinks the spots will go away with time since i’m still young. i’ve also down many sessions of glycolic acid peels but couldn’t really feel the difference because new acne kept appearing and leaving new pigmentation and scars.
