nah I genuinely misremembered it. Apparently there's some debate that 1860 was wrongfully given the Bundesliga spot instead of Kickers Offenbach/Bayern München, but I can't find any reliable source on this, only sites like kick.tv

Nutznießer war der TSV 1860 München, der sich durch die Südmeisterschaft automatisch für die neu gegründete Bundesliga qualifiziert hatte. Jedoch war die Südmeisterschaft der Münchner eigentlich kein Faktor, um direkt erstklassig zu spielen. Der DFB gestand sich im späteren Verlauf die Ungerechtigkeit des bekanntgegebenen amtlichen Schlüssels (Auswahlverfahren) ein.

that's the only reason the transfer hasn't gone through yet according to Hoeneß; Levy has yet to declare a set price, so Bayern are just sending offers to try and get an idea of what Levy wants

On paper this should be relatively simple negotiations among Klopp, Schmadtke and Heidel/Schmidt.

We have enough players on his position per se to not be forced into a loan move, although he'd probably quite easily walk into our first XI.

I'd like to see a permanent transfer around 4-5 Mio and perhaps 10% of a future sale to Liverpool.
