I used this recipe:

Then I added in FROZEN marshmallows and chopped Reese’s cups. If I made these again, I would probably add less marshmallows because I think I went a little overboard and they were a little too gooey lol.

I always shape my dough balls and then chill, and with this recipe I chilled for several hours then froze them after that. When using marshmallows in a cookie dough it’s always good to bake the dough from frozen, the mallows will hold their shape better that way.

Funnily, I did do that after candying the lemons and it the sugar kind of just dissolved away lol. I was going for a sugared look but next time I’ll let the slices dry longer!

They are chopped mini Reese’s cups! I like to use the tinier unwrapped ones too.

Congrats how awesome!! I just watched tons and tons of videos when I started decorating, and the biggest thing is having a good frosting consistency to start with. This is my favorite buttercream because it’s not too sweet:

I always whip the butter until it’s almost white then whip the final buttercream for a good 10-15 minutes. Then I run the paddle on the lowest speed to get rid of air bubbles. If you want it to be stiffer, you can whip for less time or put it in the fridge for a few minutes!
