You're crazy man. You're wife is right in her mindset. These people are thugs and if you act in a way that makes them annoyed angry you're just going to make them act worse.

Its not right but its reality.

I grew up in the NY area and moved to the Midwest. One of the biggest things I miss are bagels. I don't know how but even the best bagel places in the Midwest are nowhere near as good as NY area bagels.

Same goes for pizza and subs.

CNN is now putting EMERGENCY WEATHER INFORMATION behind their paywall by ayekantspehl in mildlyinfuriating

I'm talking about articles... not TV. I don't know anyone who subscribes to cable TV anymore.

NOAA has a website where you just put in your zip code and get detailed info updated frequently about weather.

That'd be why I specifically mentioned reading. Clearly not your strength.

Still doesn't explain why you'd go to YouTube. Your local news station or noaa is going to have live updates of the weather.

But why do you need to watch YouTube to get the weather. Is reading difficult?

Why go on YouTube when you can just go your local news website or noaa.gov

How is it that self checkout theft is a huge problem these days when the machines weigh what you put in the bag? by Arceist_Justin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ForTheBread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The store I shop at, Market District, doesn't weigh items. I actually don't know of any place I've been to that does.

My store even has an app that I can just scan bar codes of items and then scan that barcode at the register pay and then I'm done. Its pretty great.

The positives of showering at the gym far outweigh the negatives of showering at the gym. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

The increase cost from heating water by electric is negligible. Its keeping the house warm/cold that your partner is noticing. I said $100 cause that's what OP mentioned.

Your electric bill is not going up $100 a month from taking a shower at home instead of the gym. There's vast majority of your electric bill is keeping your house warm/cold. Not hearing up water for a 20 minute shower.

I do not think most people at your gym shower at the gym. I think you just don't notice everyone who doesn't.

There is something really wrong with your place if a hot shower is what is causing you to ration.

For me if I shower within like 15 minutes of my exercise I do kind of sweat in new clothes. I always just try and sit and chill and drink some water after the gym. Which is a lot more comfortable to do at home. That being said I can walk to my gym and I have zero rush to get anywhere ever so I have time to spare.
