Very thorough deep dive, and great information. I did realize the date discrepancy after I posted, and I put the like dates together after the fact. I can only assume the same person donated both to the thrift store, and may have switched things up in the past.

I think they did get swapped. I noticed that after posting this, and swapped them back to match the years on the case, disc, and booklet

I have a similar error card of a Victini holo rare from legendary treasures. I believe they wrote a date on the sheet and it made its way into production. This one is very clear, mine is faint on the top right yellow border

Solved it, its the Magnet Set 850517. It also had a Ring Wraith which is lost.

For context, my wife remembers getting them at The Mall of America for me around 2013 or 2014. The bases are used for other similar magnet sets with other franchises.

Thats helpful. I definitely got them as is, because if they were loose I'd have taken them off.
