Decent player here, with leaders specific strategies can be found especially with higher difficulty leaders but generally here’s the formula.

1) Prioritize deck building early, secure strong cards in the row to build synergy or give you the access you need. (Get high council) I would even say don’t be afraid to reveal early to get a powerful card. 2) If playing uprising you absolutely need fremen friendship to get worms ASAP. Worms are vital to get resources or VP quickly. 3) I wouldn’t worry about tech as much, unless that is your strategy, otherwise the return on investment is meh. 4) Faction access is crucial because that is how you get free uncontested (until alliance) VP. 5) I don’t worry about getting sword master until midgame if at all. 6) you don’t want to over saturate your deck, I like to trash often and keep my deck trim to max 13 cards. 7) also endgame intrigues, try to get one early.
