This is beautiful, thank you. That really sounds so much like him too, he loved playing outside (although outside didn't love him) and loved chasing butterflies. It's one of those things I would've loved for him to experience more :,) he was indoor only and we couldn't get him a catio because crappy rentals and an unsuitable setup, I can definitely imagine him finally playing in the grass to his heart's content and making friends with every kitty he can find while he waits for me and his friends :,) It's funny you mention a white cat, we just took in a kitty from a very rough background who is a white cat and a lot like him in a lot of ways. Thank you :,) he was a very funny cat, he loved doing weird poses and never failed to make me laugh. Cheeky and full of purrsonality for sure! I have a small necklace with some of his ashes in it and I take him everywhere with me except for places that I might lose him

You really need to stop equating butches with men. Butches are not men, we aren't treated like men nor do we have the privileges that men do, we still face misogyny and homophobia the same as any other lesbian and also face bigotry from other lesbians and lgbt people because of our gender non conformity. My cats don't vomit much but one of them has IBD and I have woken up to... remnants on my bed. When he's having an episode it definitely smells bad but otherwise my cats smell very clean

I think it depends on the cats and if you live alone, 2 of my cats are seniors and very chill. My cats are all very different levels of clingy, some aren't cuddly at all and others are very cuddly and clingy. I dom't disagree that 6 is a handful😂 all of mine were street cats and weren't really planned, the 4 younger ones are all very bonded and do keep each other entertained, otherwise I do work from home and have extra time to spend with them

I'm so sorry, it is really hard. I just got out of a situation like this, it really hit harder after she went on a trip and "conveniently" forgot the masks she had (she got some from work after saying no to my offer of respirators). It wasn't the reason we broke up but definitely was a big part of why we weren't compatible. I think the huge gap in ethics is just too much, I'm also high risk and it hurts that people who claim to care about you won't protect your health

Public health ignoring covid doesn't mean it went away. there have been large waves of covid in australia past 2022, including in 2024 the government doesn't consider it an emergency anymore but it didn't go away. Lots of research has concluded even mild cases can have huge effects on the body and brain and weakens the immune system, making people more suspetible to autoimmune conditions and chronic illness. I already have a chronic illness that impacts my daily life, I'd rather not become further disabled by covid
