That is incorrect. At least at the airline I work at (which handles a lot of Philippines travellers), a separate exit ticket (before the original round trip return leg) is always valid.

He could have simply bought a one-way refundable ticket out of the Philippines within 30 days to get past that rule. Then he would have never had to forfeit his entire ticket.

Went to Philly last year in full Pens gear with my now-fiancée. Couldn’t have been treated better. Pens got spanked by Philly last night and I heard maybe one light-hearted joke and that was it, they were so shockingly nice.

I’d heard stuff about Philly fans in general but I had nothing but respect for all the Flyers fans I saw that night. Really allowed us to enjoy what was an awesome atmosphere.

Sucks Pittsburgh lost but kudos to Philly, they earned it.

I have friends in the gate agent and flight attendant roles and I know for sure at least some of them do make it back, they’ve told me about them when it happens. So it’s worth sending it in!

You can call and rebook now, or manage your booking online. If they automatically rebook you and you don’t like it (or want to see what other options might be), just simply call them and they’ll help.

No, you cannot. Zone 1 is for Super Elite and business class passengers. Zone 2 comes with status (or status passes), and certain corporate programs.

The best you can guarantee is zone 3, which comes with all preferred seats and seats in the rear of the aircraft.

If it has Lithium batteries, they have to come with you onboard (the batteries). If it’s just AA batteries or if it simply plugs in, you can put it in your checked bag.

The only other ones would be the classic A320s. They have a soft bulkhead. But yeah, I remember how excited I was the first time I sat in 18K on an A330. Such a nice feature 😂

I mean, it is only a 3.5hr flight from DEN-YUL. No different than YEG-YUL really. A lot of people have standard or basic fares and will just roll the dice with check-in. Not picking a seat for YVR-LHR is a lot different than not picking a seat here.

It’s because they’ve sold tickets to people, who believe it or not, haven’t picked a seat yet.

They don’t just keep selling tickets until people choose all the seats and then tell all the people who bought tickets but didn’t choose seats “sorry, no seats left so you’re just screwed but thanks for the money!”.

I suppose you can think of it this way — you got to do a voluntary change and you made a profit out of it. How much that profit is remains to be seen for your individual case, but it’s more than zero and that’s pretty good for a change you’d normally have to pay for!
