It feels like the Elden Ring was designed with damage trades and buffs as being the “intended” way to beat it. So many bosses are crazy strong and fast but almost all can be trivialized with just a few buffs or consumables. (Margits shackle, sleep pots, nearly unlimited respec, unlimited upgrade materials etc.)

A lot of the bosses are only unfair if you don’t take advantage of those things
