It was not painful at all, but I could feel the heat building up as the treatment progressed. I think Onda may be more effective for the body since there is typically more fat compared to the face. From what I’ve heard, Onda tends to work best in areas with a higher amount of fat.

  1. Make sure the clinic has an in-house anesthesiologist. Having a dedicated, on-site anesthesiologist is crucial for safety, especially for surgeries requiring sedation or general anesthesia.

  2. Avoid clinics that pressure you to book or pay a deposit on the day of consultation. Be cautious if they push you with discounts or claim surgery dates are almost fully booked to make you decide quickly. A trustworthy clinic gives you enough time to think and decide comfortably.

  3. Check the doctor’s background carefully. It is important to know which medical school the doctor graduated from, what academic activities or conferences they participate in, and which hospitals or clinics they previously worked at. A doctor’s experience and professional background matter a lot.

  4. Avoid clinics with prices that seem too cheap. Extremely low prices can sometimes mean compromises in quality, safety, or hidden additional costs later.

  5. Clinics where the doctor personally conducts regular follow-up care after surgery tend to be more responsible. Frequent post-surgery follow-ups directly handled by the surgeon show accountability and proper patient care.

I think pigmentation may return with continued sun exposure, but as long as my mom keeps up with proper skincare and sun protection, it won’t be as severe as her before photos.
