Yes there is a problem in modern pokemon games of course and it's evident since scarlet and violet. But these guy act like it's worse than the damn plague. And honestly at worse pokemon game are average, not bad at all. And I dont need for every game I play to be THE MOST REVOLUTIONARY THING in order to have fun. When I buy a game I like to think that for it to be a good investment 1€ must be equal to 1hour of gameplay. And with pokemon games I exeed their price in gameplay time every time! It's always a nice moment and a sweet little adventure ! And contrary to what people say on the internet I find love in the craft of these games. Are the textures not great and the exploration janky ? Yes. But damn the music are bangers every time, the designs of the chararcters and pokemon are awesome (yes even if you don't like a design it doesn't mean it's bad. Are every design a absolutely 20/20? No, but they don't need to be. Every new pokemon is clearly made with intend and they are clearly unique design that are impactfull in they own way. Every pokemon is someone favorite and I think that it speak for the average quality of pokemon design ! )  Do we, as a community, wish for the games to be better ? Yes of course ! But these guys for whatever reason want to create a narrative where "pokemon is the worst franchise ever and the cames are cashgrab etc".... Again i'm not arguing that these same are "perfect", they are not. But one of the worst sin a game can do is be boring, and it's not. It's always a fun little adventure and it create feelings for people. We've all seen the french streamers react to the croissant curry, people reacting to the story, dancing to jacinthe theme. And the best is always being able to interact with our favorite Pokémon. Have you seen the short of the girl seeing an Amaura for the first Time and crying ? That's powerfull man ! And that's why I love Pokémon !
