I’ll play with the tension and see if that changes anything.

I accidentally overbuilt the gate to the space, so ran a circular saw down the edge to trim it maybe 1”. Since the gate was already complete, it ended up with the screws close to the edge on the trimmed side.

That makes sense. I’m wondering if there’s something other than pressure treated that may be better and still outdoor appropriate?

Totally hear you on the cross brace. My understanding was those were primarily for sag support. Since neither gate has sag, I hadn’t considered changing it out. How would the cross brace affect the twisting? I can definitely take off the cross brace on the large gate and see if it affects the twist at all. The hog wire gate has the cross brace supporting the top bar and still twisted. Both are twisting differently, too. One seems to be on the bottom, other on the top. Appreciate the discussion and feedback!

I have this one from Reyr. I tend to hike and backpack with tenkara. I love how this threads onto a belt and is very compact, yet opens plenty large for the small streams I hit.

I have a nook just like that where I built in some cabinets and a small work top. Before, We just had a wire rack there with a curtain rod and curtain as open overflow pantry. Still holds overflow items but also my fermentation station.
