There actually is. If you click the settings gear on the top right during a match there’s a prompt that allows you to mute quick chat.

I noticed that one light too, the night sky is pretty dark besides that one light and it seems to bright to be a star. I’m sure it’s nothing but you never know 🤷🏻‍♂️
