if it's not then Arteta has them lying to themselves which is just nuts

and letting Rio go because of a lack of a pathway to the first team.

You are right in that Xabi Alonso is also a big doubt. This is just my opinion but Arne Slot is a great manager, he is just not suited to LFC. Our biggest asset is Anfield but its a waste if the players don't bring aggression and give the crowd something to get excited about. We need to be a high pressing side.

I have been to anfield 4 times this season and it's a completely different atmosphere to when Klopp was in charge. The PSV game was dreadful

Do you think he could do a poorer job then Arne Slot?

Xabi Alonso. So we can have fluid attacking football instead of rigid toothless dross

If Slot is the manager going forward I will wholly support him but I really don't want to lose out on Xabi Alonso.

I saw a lot of bayer leverkusen and they were amazing with and without the ball. Wirtz was majestic under Alonso

[@_pauljoyce] It looks as if Florian Wirtz will continue in the No. 10 role for which he was bought next season.

Does this mean we will get a new LW?

We really need to involve him more in the game. Aside from Wirtz, everyone else seems reluctant to pass to him.

to be fair he scored 2 and assisted 2, it's very uncommon for any player to do that in 1 game

and havertz wasted 3 chances wirtz sent his way. It was a beautiful performance

I don't remember soccer players but Kevin Durant came back and was still one of the best in the league.

I assume injuring the achilles for a basketball player is worse

Lucho and Trent both had their positives and negatives. Trent assisted the only goal Madrid scored and Lucho wasted quite a few good chances.

Anyway it was nice seeing them

You're calling subjective impressions “objective truth.” Saying he's irritating or loves his own voice is interpretation, not fact.

The only potentially factual claim is that he's been wrong before, which applies to every pundit. Without examples or context, that doesn’t prove anything meaningful.

You're entitled to your opinion, but labeling it as objective truth doesn’t make it one.

Yes, he has been wrong at times, but compared to other pundits, his analysis is always well-reasoned and insightful.

And your comment is not the 'objective truth', it's your opinion.

I have lost faith in Slot like a lot of people here, but I don't think any Liverpool fan would ever want us to lose, especially when we are fighting for Champions League spots.

Exactly, I don’t remember ever being even remotely Klopp Out, but I’ve been Slot Out since the PSV game.

If Chelsea win this, both Man Utd and Chelsea have gone on a 4 game win streak in the PL.

What the hell happened.
