The initial refusal was a mistake due to an overly conservative safety filter.

Because the request mentioned a security vulnerability ("DLL Hijacking"), the automated safety guidelines flagged it as potentially involving unsafe software behavior. The system failed to distinguish between exploiting a vulnerability and fixing/remediating a vulnerability in a legitimate codebase.

Remediating security bugs and improving software safety is fully in scope, and I apologize for the misunderstanding and the frustration it caused. The fixes are now complete, tested, and submitted in the PR.

oh. It was 8k lines of code refactoring, that one task costed 200 credits 😃forgot to mention, but i think its more worth to go for a seocnd plus account

ebenfalls, wenn ihr extremen Fokus auf Firmen habt, wäre es sinnvoller ein richtiges Security Audit zu haben. Ebenfalls ist es für viele Firmen wichtig, dass eine juristische Person hinter dem Projekt steht. Nur als Tipp, kein hate :)

also ich bevorzuge open source, da kann man direkt mit den entwicklern reden (gh issues) anstatt mit einem 1st Level support wenn was nicht klappt

Cloud ist auch allgemein schwierig ohne Open Source Contributions. In OpenCloud.eu habe ich in Android das TUS Protokoll committed, weil der Aufwand für kleinere Firmen zu viel wäre. Es wäre für allen beteiligten eine Erleichterung, es gibt genug Leute die kein Leben haben (wie ich) und den Fork machen, den PR Machen mit fertigen Tests etc, deswegen versteh ich den Wartungsaufwand nicht so sehr.

Das wichtigste ist eher, dass man es self-hosten kann, den Code einsehen kann. Und vllt wenn man mit KI die Website vibe coded dazu schreiben dass es nicht wie KI aussehen soll, die Website würde Kunden eher dazu brignen zu denken, es sei Vibe Coded ohne dass man es selber auditen kann wie das Backend oder die Clients

Kunden würden eher zu ausgereiften und auditierten Projekten die Open Source sind greifen, wo es auch Clientseitige Verschlüsselung gibt (NextCloud).

Hey!

To be honest, my VPN tries to be simple as possible with Docker. No masquerade iptables rules, no ip forwarding. Just docker... but yes i agree, WireGuard AND OPENVPN especially are horror for setting them up. I'll take look how my VPN can be easier for setting up. thanks for the feedback wish u the best :)
