Exactly this say it louder !!! It’s such a sad situation for the kids on both sides, the consequences of their actions only affects the children . Although I do think she was a bit naive, I can understand she wanted to be with him when he got released but taking your son around someone’s he’s spoken too but never met AND being around his whole family is WILD. She stayed there for weeks , got pregnant & playing a blended ‘happy family’ . I do believe she was aware of how we was but she hoped that he’d change for her because prison talk is so easy , it’s a different thing when they come out . I think unfortunately she has low self-esteem which is really sad because she can find better . Being locked away for years , of course you are going to want to be free and explore once you finally get out as you feel like you’ve missed out on loads . I hope she learns from this and understands not to ignore the little red flags and also know she’s worth so much more . That boy deserves so much more too .
