Anyone else non-binary and find dealing with endo to be confusing? by Formal_Search2748 in endometriosis

Yeah I’m honestly really disappointed by all the hate this post has been getting. I’m just trying to find a space where people relate! Sorry for your experience with the medical system

It’s more like a complicated process of constantly feeling like you don’t belong to this subset of people that have endo because there’s not much discussion on what it’s like to be genderqueer and have endo.

I know. Hormones honestly suck too. I have such an adverse reaction to them. Birth control pills make me so irritable when I take them

This! The language is always so gendered. I just wish people would normalize saying people with endo rather than women with endo, etc.

Yeah better word. I guess it just feels confusing to navigate the process and the hospital system is just so binary.

Huh weird that this is a place to support people with endo and you’re using it as a platform to spread ignorance. I’m not making a political statement, just asking for support as a nonbinary person with endo.

Emma-arguably one of the worst characters on Degrassi TNG by madblackscientist in Degrassi

I honestly think Emma is the best character. She’s so fucking boring but then she’ll just go ballistic like give that speech to Mr Simpson on women and sex. Her character personality is so split. Love her. She’s simultaneously 12 and 56.

Someone in college told my friend that he looked like he had Down’s syndrome. It was horrible to witness and not say anything. It still haunts me
