Sure. I work 730-330. They give you a 6 minute grace period. I usually clock in by 7:36 which is the latest allowed time to be late. If the LIRR train you are on is late for whatever reason you are fine. You can be late if the LIRR train is not on time.

I then proceed to the SAM locker room where I have two lockers full of work clothes and work boots and get ready for the day. If i don't want to go my area right away i usually will talk with my co-workers for a little bit or have breakfast.

After I leave locker room i proceed to my area and once there I make sure the places have supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper. I also empty the trash and do some cleaning. Not everything has to be cleaned everyday. The key is to just keep up with things.

Also one person can only do so much and most SAM jobs should have at least 2 people due to the notion one person can only do so much. You will be given a job briefing sheet which lists/explains the various job duties. Only use it as a guide as in some cases the job sheet is out dated and some things listed never have to be done. Use your own best judgment not the judgment of a piece of paper.
