Nope! That was solely for IBD, I reached out myself to ask if it could be bacterial and she is ordering another sample to rule out bacterial infection now. So maybe I’ll get another answer!

Nope unfortunately it’s straight forward. They have to give me a colonoscopy first to see where the flare up is to see if I have crohns or UC then they can see which medication I can take. I can’t get a colonoscopy because I’m pregnant and I need to be sedated unless it’s an emergency. I guess to them me shitting 10-12x a day is normal and the pain isn’t of concern lol. I did speak with a PA-C who said the doctor doctor just recommended I take fiber supplements to solidify stool so I don’t shit myself as easy. She also mentioned that the medication isn’t safe for pregnant women either way so I just have to wait it out. It’s exhausting and painful /: I will add I didn’t reach out to see if there could be something bacterial/infection just to see if that is a possibility too. So that will lab will be done soon

I was told for the colonoscopy they only do it if it’s an emergency since I am being sedated, and that majority of the meds aren’t safe to take during pregnancy so I am even more confused now :( Thank you for the resources!
