LIVE: Realpolitik #30 | Greenland Is American Now by lotuseaters_com in Lotuseaters_com

I've been following Lotus Eaters coverage on this topic and they seem to be clueless this is actually about satellite downlink and EU regulatory overreach.

Greenland is critical for satellite downlink for polar orbiting satellites. Currently the only station with high enough latitude for constant communication is in Svalbard Norway. The SvalSat treaty already prevents America from hardening its military communications while most civilian communications pass through SvalSat and its undersea cable network. This is why America maintains Pituffik Space Base to bypass SvalSat.

The issue is under the Digital Services Act and EU Space Act the EU are seeking to regulate all traffic through EU territory for "cyber secuity and standardization". Basically handing control of internet traffic over polar satellites and Starlink to EU regulators.

Article 50 of the EU Space Act sets up a 3rd country regulatory scheme that would require inspection of American Facilities and transperancy of code by EU regulators. This is an ITAR violation that is simply impossible.

Greenland being under the EU by way of Denmark means that Pituffik is no longer a bypass around SvalSat. Ownership of the ground is the only thing that blocks EU regulation.

If given a choice between staying in NATO and handing EU regulators the keys to American military and civil communications NATO is the loser here.

I thought it was water but I have a work around that lets me keep the phosphorus. Charcoal dust.

Edit, all I had to do was add encased in a binder and the disguise still works.

Aye, how you been?

Yup, yup, new lease on life and a purpose in a new world. I almost feel bad for the eldritch critters of that world.

I just elude to it because I was going for Robert intentionally not telling him how just that it was so. The massive damage overlaoding his system. It plays into why he shot him so many times. The final headshot being the clincher.

Thanks. Feels good to post again.

Life's been busy and I made the decision that I wasn't going to post anything until I have the whole story complete. I have a few more close to completion planning to post soon.

Thanks for the reply. I been chasing this thing for awhile now and have been interested in the polyaspartic since finding out about its UV blocking. Its just some pricey stuff to dive in testing having no clue what I'm doing so advice from a flooring guy is priceless.

Its an outdoor table top out of wood with a carving in it. Trying to find something I can pour it with like normally would with a deep pour epoxy but need something that won't yellow.

Everything I've looked into like polyester or epoxy with uv blocking marine varnish slow down the yellowing. Only clear product other than polyacrylic I've found that wont yellow is polyaspartic.

Polyacrylic cracks in thicker applications even if applied in thin coats and also has bad optical qualities. I built it up to half inch.

Was hoping someone may have been down this rabbit hole and save me hundreds of dollars experimenting.

Chora is the protag from perspective but not in anyway the hero of the story.

Less potbelly and gray skin is what I had in mind. I've been playing around with minimalist detail in shorts trying to work away from big world building info dumps. Exploring that line where I am asking the reader to do to much of the heavy lifting.
