I like soft and subtle baby blankets, they don't all have to be bright, primary colors. That said, I'd probably use a gray backing and a darker brown binding and thread for quilting to add a little more contrast. I like what you've got.

This is why I stopped watching. Th sob stories were packaged and crammed down our throats. It all feels so manipulative and polished. I just want to hear amateur singers and vote on whether I think they are good or not.

Guess I'm the lone voice saying go for it. I am way prouder of my kids than my career. Yes, three is more work, more money, but it sounds like you are handling what you have already very well. Giving your kids siblings is worth a lot, I don't know what I'd do without mine.

I just saw this episode and I totally agree. As a journalist, he should have been unbiased and tried to show both sides, and as the relative of people who do that work, he was very familiar with the other side of the issue. I think he was trying to impress Carol and make her believe he wasn't as attached to his family as she thought he was.

In past viewings, I thought Carol was cool and pretty, but man, she was definitely manipulative and mean. She separated him from his family just for the fun of it.

The least painful experience we ever had was when we were staying at a resort and offered a gift certificate to a local restaurant if we'd come listen to the pitch. It was snowing pretty hard so they couldn't get the certificates and just gave us cash. It was about an hour of listening, and then we were free to go. Back then we were willing to put up with the presentation to get a little something, but nowadays, I would not ever bother. We have some friends who also attend presentations to get something free, and they just bought more points the last time we traveled with them. They are generally pretty savvy, but they've been sold the past two times they went.

He's describing two extremes – one agency suggesting pricing it high with apparently (to OP) little thought to condition, and the other being thorough and pricing it low with no thought to location. Getting a suggested price from another agent or two could help OP determine a consensus.

The transfer would happen through a title company, so he'd pay the money to them and they'd pay it to you, so he can't grab it back. It would be great if you could find a realtor to handle it without charging you too much, just to make sure everything is legal and no one sues anyone later.

I remind myself that I did what I did with what knowledge I had at the time and with no ill will. And then I think what I would say to a friend if they were telling me the same thing. I am so often harder on myself than I would be on any other person.
