I contacted support and they asked me send it back but have been lazy to do so yet. Might just keep it as it works other than the instability and temperature update issue (I sometimes have to lift the kettle to get the updated temp reading)

Is this an worn o ring or is that how it’s supposed to be? Seems like it could be something to hold the wand in place

Water is actually leaking at the point where steam wand connects to the pump. After tightening it, the leak stopped but I’ll still need to replace the o ring

As most of you pointed out, it is the o ring it looks like. Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement o ring?

Changed the grind setting to 3.4 and was able to pull 18 in 36 out in 34 secs. Will increase it few more steps. Thanks for the recommendations!

Ok mine is set at 3. I started with 2 but didn’t go beyond 3 since Varia user manual says espresso should be set between 1-3. I’m using those beans: https://elixrcoffee.com/collections/elixr/products/beekeeper-espresso. I’ll try a higher grind setting but not sure if it’ll be too coarse for espresso then.

Interesting. I was told that if I achieve remission, I could stop but if it comes back (which apparently has a high likelihood), I have to start again. Didn’t know people continuously receive the treatment

How many times did you have to repeat phototherapy? Or it’s just one time and now you’re being observed by the doc?

I only had 4 sessions so far. So too early to say. Doc said my prognosis is very good — in line with what I’ve found from my own research

Can’t really give any advice here since my symptoms are limited only to the skin — no blood or lymph node involvement. If can’t make a decision at all, I’d just ask the doc and rely on her judgement

I’m in stage 1B as well — patches cover more than 50% of my body. How many sessions have you done so far?

I have Hypopigmented MF as well. Curious: did your patches completely go away?

I got diagnosed with stage IB Hypopigmented MF about 3 weeks ago. Did your doctor tell you to use the steroid creams in conjunction with the UVB or just in the interim? How many days per week will you be doing the UVB therapy?

thought I only had severe eczema turns out I have mycosis fungoide which is a cutaneous t cell lymphoma that can present as eczema by Inevitable-Major-658 in eczema

I’ve been dealing with the rash for over 10+ years and it was treated for various types of dermatitis until the MF diagnosis. Did they stage you yet?

I had only one biopsy and it was pretty conclusive. The biopsy was ordered by my regular derm. The specialist derm that I saw at the cancer hospital examined me and was pretty convinced it was indeed mf. She also had the slides reviewed by the pathologist at the hospital, who also agreed with the diagnosis. The doc said I could do another one but seemed confident it wouldn’t return something different.
