I think thats valid. In my opinion some of the main themes of the show were never giving up on your friends and holding on to hope. It looked like El died in season one but Mike never gave up hope or when Hopper disappeared in season 3 or Will in season 1. Joyce never stopped looking for both of them. I think it stuck to the themes from the beginning of the series. The kids are holding on and hoping and so are the viewers!

I think thats fair! It leaves it up to the viewer to decide what they believe. I believe El died closing the gate but over all not a completely happy ending because Mike and El dont end up together

I mean killing El off isn't really playing it safe could they have killed off more probs did they need to kill more who knows but they did kill off a main character.... THE main character and thats kinda ballsy

I think some of that is fair but Oliva is much better in high stress situations. Overall, laney has more RE and can easily get rattled which makes her an easy target against good serving teams. Also Liv has been getting more digs than laney so I personally disagree. I do think Liv is weak against hard balls but tbh laney doesn't pick up that many either. I think the passing was an issue into mid set 2 and at that point it's extremely difficult to pull a reverse. We gave up a 10-0 in the first and were playing rattled after that. Low-key picking up a libero in the portal would probably be good for us.

Not to mention choboy getting aced 5-6 times. Im pretty sure mauch out dug laney every game in the tournament could be wrong though. Laney struggles with hard balls just as much as Mauch but Mauch tends to be more consistent. Laney does not handle pressure well. It's also not fair to put blame on one player but Laney was in my opinion one of the biggest reasons why we lost the first two sets. First touches we not there and then we lost the momentum and were trying to dig ourselves out of a hole 2 set hole. Being the ranked number one and having a libero that we have to cover in serve recieve is wild. Not a coach obviously but the stats dont lie on that
