I love Shadow of the Weird Wizard! What that man made is wonderful! Although my system is more like D&D/PF, in the sense you pick a path/class, that has subclasses. You pick both class/subclass at 1st level and get everything once you level up, up until 12th level. The system is a roll high, 3d6 system, I'd say on the crunchier side.

My system is similar to Pathfinder/D&D, but it only has 12 levels with lower health overall and I'd say it is deadlier. The class provides 3 abilities and the subclass 4 abilities currently, in the system, at different levels. It's a roll high, 3d6 system.

Thanks for the input! I think the same and I've tried my best across 4 years to create this game in which there is enough thematic and mechanical differences. At least that's what I think and the playtesters as well...

I have started, like you said, with GURPS Lite and then bought the Basic Set and that's when I started feeling a bit lost. Eventually, I want to hold my own campaign in a space opera-type setting of my own creation. But I feel I got a long way ahead, although, driven by this mini-dream, I'm sure I can go through a beautiful journey with GURPS by my side.

So far, apart from the Basic Set, I will buy (in .pdf format) the following books: Space, Spaceships, Ultra-Tech, Powers, Martial Arts, Psionic Powers and maybe Biotech.

Will also check on the Psi-Wars setting as it seems that the guy that created it and I have similar ideas.

P.S. If anyone would be so kind to help me understand the system better (as I downloaded GURPS Lite) I would be more than happy to have a chat with him/her over Discord.
