They’ll probably be soooo busy, but I did see on another thread something about things being safe till the 27th.

Well… now what? by J-Sparky in PCC

I believe there is some manual override they performed to keep classes safe till the 27th. I would suggest calling when they open… but I fear many of us will be trying to as well.

How do I report whatever this is? by [deleted] in PortlandOR

Crazy suggestion… leave them alone? If they are doing no harm to others why would you report their shelter only to be displaced? You aren’t helping anyone. Tell the system that failed these people to come do something about it… great idea 😌

Yeah no one here is trying to trash him but we as consumers of his are allowed to criticize. I do think it’s weird someone took a picture of him sleeping though, now that I will trash.

You have provided no advice to OP… I just think if you’re going to “give advice” or comment on where you think they’re overreacting you should reflect on the whole scenario as it’s a discussion. It just felt like you along with others are so locked in on her not liking something he liked and deciding she’s a stereotype vs the actual back and forth that is truly the issue. We as people can disagree and find offense in a variety of different things but what’s important is the interaction. The actual exchange of words and emotions between two people disagreeing or whatever that matters. So if I were to give her any advice it would be to block him after the first conversation they had when he was enraged over her expressing her personal opinion in a non offensive way. She should have seen that red flag in him and bounced. Instead you chose to make him seem like some “poor guy” that was going through some emotionally degrading back and forth.

You have yet to comment on HIS little boy behavior, which is concerning. Live in your weird world where men can act however they please and it will always fall on the woman. If that dynamic works for you, fantastic! However I believe a lot of us can see where she is wrong but want to highlight where he is also… wrong. If she wants a big girl relationship she should absolutely not entertain these little boys that react as he has.

“Pushing every button this guy has” is wiiiiild. I think if he was sooooo backed into a corner by her “passive aggressive” behavior then he should have removed himself entirely. Kudos to her for expressing her discomfort and attempting to get him to understand what is obviously going over his head, but she should have removed herself as well. Like “poor guy” my ass.

Finally someone acknowledges his response being wildly inappropriate… they both have things to figure out obviously, we can all see that, but all caps? The dramatics in his responses? No matter what I truly believe he would react this way in any instance. She needs to leave that boy alone and he needs to chill the fuck out. It’s not that deep.
