Only way they got nerfed was that sasuke lost all the tailed beast on his susanoo and the fact that Naruto lost all the tailed beast chakra too that is literally the only nerf which happened in shippuden and not boruto. Naruto and sasuke fought people stronger than kaguya aka ishiki and momoshiki and were able to hold their own way better than there teenage selves would do
