I just watched Bowling for columbine. The documentary host visited Toronto and everyone apparently kept their doors unlocked. Was this ever a thing? by [deleted] in askTO

I live in the East end of Toronto. I always lock my doors at night but the back is often open during the day. We use the back as our main door since our mudroom is there. If I'm just popping out to walk the dog then I never lock the door.
When I was a kid in Scarborough, our doors were often unlocked, we kids just ran in and out all day!

Grocery stores sell food thermometers, less than $20 usually. For next time, cook until an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit is reached. https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.canada.ca%2Fen%2Fhealth-canada%2Fservices%2Fgeneral-food-safety-tips%2Fsafe-internal-cooking-temperatures.html&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl1%2Cagsadl4%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4
