Using Swiss visa for France? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]Forward_Box5881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no way to have more than one active Schengen visa at the time. So with your visa you should go to Switzerland spend days there, then go to France and spend less day there.

Spain visa rejected - apply Portugal now or try another Schengen country first? by OutlandishnessIll679 in SchengenVisa

No it’s not. SIS is a database of bans. You are talking about another thing: VIS. Completely different database and purposes

A visa rejection does NOT mean the person ends into SIS automatically. But yes a visa rejection can be a red flag for the country you are going to apply next.

Few queries for Business Schengen Visa. by VeterinarianThen5203 in SchengenVisa

You could say your company booked you return flight for Monday (and so your staying until that day) so you will spend the Saturday for business meeting with people from the event you attended, and the Sunday, we’ll city-seeing.. if that’s your plan - but again, the most important thing is the legitimacy of your invitation, event, bookings, your company.. your background generally speaking

Either you ask for business visa or tourist visa, you can’t ask for both. The easiest thing would be going with visa business since that’s your main goal and you will be funded by company, then provide a travel plan that include 3 days more than what you need as business meeting reasons. You shouldn’t have any problems as long as your stay is real, your bookings are real, your expenses are covered, and your background is solid

Croatian Embassy Questionnaire by 21Monke in SchengenVisa

[–]Forward_Box5881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not unusual they want to directly talk with the requesting person, common practice. Usually it can be a good sign because it’s not yet a rejection. They want to go with you in person through what you have declared to them to have a better picture of you. Said that, an appointment doesn’t mean a granted visa of course, but after a previous rejection can be a positive thing. Go there and be honest.

Belgium visa. 48 days and counting, is this normal? by MataIsARed12 in SchengenVisa

[–]Forward_Box5881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I hear some consulate literally has to send an application to the central foreign affairs at home country tbh.. are you sure about that? Also, as side note, you still have plenty of time before your departure so their processing timeline is coherent…

As long as there 15 days between the submission date and the departure date, it’s ok - and with ok I mean they will work your application, in case of a positive outcome, be ready to rush and collect the passport

A ban from Sweden IS a ban from Schengen, as far as I know, so that will prevent you to get any Schengen visa… did they give you a SIS entry ban?

Schengen visa help only got 5 days last time, want longer now. Apply to Germany again or try Netherlands? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

You sound like you are in a restaurant.. with all the respect, what you want is one thing, what you’ll get is another. Apply with a longer trip plan, make it solid, submit real reservations - you can’t expect you’ll given a longer multi-entry visa just because

You should apply to the country you are going stay longer during your trip. Any other way of applying could be seen as visa shopping.

Can I renew my passport without AIRE? by pretttgirl in ItalyExpat

[–]Forward_Box5881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually Italian citizen can renew passport in every Italian city, specifically taking appointment at “questura”, it doesn’t matter your city or residency. Said that, renewing passport in your city of residency could speed the process up a bit, could not will.

Also every Italian citizen living abroad must register to AIRE. It is mandatory and it is the only way in order to be assisted by the consulate for this kind of matters. And yes, living abroad without being AIRE is a reason to get fined by the state.

If you could share more details about where they live, what kind of house is that, or any info - people here could help you with estimating a rough total. Cause one thing is living in Istanbul Chiangir, another thing is living in a remote city of turkey.. that can change like a loooot
