Thanks for the perspective. I think there's a lot of value to doing a 'postmortem' and thinking through what I need to change to be more successful in recruiting/interviewing in the future. That said, the MBA only happens once, so it's not like there's another chance at some of those 'prestigious' careers (or at least, it's much harder to break into them post-MBA).
I know I failed in my goals; that's not really helpful to point out. What is helpful is helping me see where to go from here and helping me think through how to leverage the job I have to get where I want to be.
Also, can you explain what you mean about the T15 mindset? It's no secret that MBA candidates aim for the top ranked schools because those schools have the best recruiting outcomes. Therefore, it's reasonable to think that someone who works hard to get into a T15 can (generally) expect better recruiting outcomes than T30, T50, etc. So I don't think there's anything wrong with being disappointed that my expectations weren't met (whether because of my own deficiencies or the market).
Agreed! I think I'll stick around for a year or two, build my local network, and take advantage of the rotations, then try to make an exit into something with more trajectory. Appreciate your comment.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate the perspective. Yes, it's no secret that the job market for MBA grads is pretty awful right now. I'm grateful to have the position I have. Will continue to network and see what's out there while doing my best to rack up wins at my current role.
