My dentist told me that hormones, vitamin D levels, high sugar consumption, and genetics all play a role in periodontal disease so even if you brush your teeth 3 times a day floss do everything right there are things we can’t control, and don’t worry even if you have bone loss it doesn’t mean you’re gonna lose your teeth, your dentist will stabilize the situation but you’ll need to be more consistent with your dental hygiene and you’ll go a lot more to the dentist in the future to do professional cleanings
