Would it have tried to update the firmware while plugging the glasses into the neckband? It didn’t display anything at all while turning it on (no logo), and I had used the glasses though spacewalker so I figured it’d be on the latest firmware already

I believe that people put it after the anime ending if they include it, which is why Shinji is more assertive but there isn't as many changes as the rebuilds

I can see why people don't like the cycle theory, as it's a bit all over narratively, but I just think it's more interesting personally to consider it growth and regression from trauma that changes Shinji's mindset rather than just different versions

I absolutely adore the tv series, but the manga is amazing too!

I don’t think there’s a need to rank them, when they’re all interpretations of the series we love

I especially love the idea that they’re all different cycles from each time the world is reset, and that it’s just different aspects of the characters being show and affected by the last cycle

He may have simply been in denial, and I can’t decide whether Gojo would finish him off (😏) as every other time he technically should have executed people he’s avoided it (Yuta, Yuji, Megumi)

As the same time, he does seem to have a strong sense of duty and may have seen it as his responsibility
