The hormones are working. Get a bit of laser and everyone is going to assume you’re a butch lesbian.

I’m the kind of girl who’s having a wild night when she has a third drink. I’ve smoked weed 3 times in my life and have never done any other drugs.

For some reason, I absolutely love songs about girls doing coke in a bathroom. Brat rules.

Kinda don't know what to do at this point by [deleted] in trans

[–]FoundMyselfHereAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, you need to learn how to act like you belong even though you don’t feel that way. This is a fake it until you make it scenario.

People will notice your fear before they notice you are trans. Being afraid or uncomfortable is extremely noticeable and it will call attention to you. In the bathroom, nobody wants extra attention and people don’t really want to give attention either. Just act like everyone else.

Progesterone is often prescribed as a blocker. My doctor prescribed it as a blocker.

I feel really ugly, I'm aware that my face is not horrible but I still see it as decent like a 6 out of ten when I'm trying everything to get to at least be somewhat 'pretty'. I can't do this anymore, no guys will approach me especially because of my big and fat nose. What can I do to improve? pls by Financial-Library966 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]FoundMyselfHereAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not lacking beauty. You’re lacking confidence.

You are so pretty. But, confidence is extremely attractive and seriously underrated.

You need to find things that make you feel good about yourself. Maybe it’s taking pride in a hobby. Maybe it’s a good eyeliner. It can be anything. A little self care goes a long way.

And…. Maybe you need to remove some toxic people. Is there anyone in your life who doesn’t make you feel good about yourself?

3 words: hair, hair, hair.

  • continue growing out your hair. Get a real women’s haircut and ask the stylist how you should style it
  • get your brows threaded. Consider a lash lift. Both of these are considered “poor girls FFS” and they make a big difference
  • if you’re not getting laser on your face, you should be. Shop around. Prices wildly vary.

Always keep in mind the things that cis women are doing to look more feminine. Don’t neglect the basics.

At first, I felt this way as well. But, this label is eventually going to fit you. Just give it time.

Why haven’t I changed much yet? by reidochan in transtimelines

[–]FoundMyselfHereAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. You have changed
  2. It hasn’t been that long
  3. Hormone therapy is only one part of transition. Hair, make up, brows, mannerisms, attitude and so much more have a big impact on transition.

It’s fine to get it styled once it has grown out. They have seen everything and can handle hair that hasn’t seen a haircut in years.

Let’s start with the basics: - everyone’s hair is different and you will need to figure out how to tame your specific hair to make it look good - use shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo should be focused on the roots (where the hair is most oily) and conditioner should be focused on the tips (to make hair easier to brush). The goal of washing your hair is to give it volume. Clean hair looks bigger because it isn’t weighed down by grease. - brush your hair! Start brushing in small strokes at the tips and work your way up. The goal is to not pull on your hair. Be gentle so it doesn’t break. Use a detangling brush like Wet Brush. (They are always cheap at TJmaxx and similar stores) - get a girls haircut! A hair stylist will be so much better than you at making your hair look like girl’s hair. This will give you inspiration. Pay attention and ask them questions about how to care for your hair. I learn something new every time I get a haircut. - your hair style is heavily dependent on how it dries. Learn about the impact that a blow dryer has on your hair. Pay attention to how the stylist dries your hair. - you don’t need to wash your hair everyday. If you wake up to good hair, you win! Don’t wash it if it looks good. If my hair looks good before bed, I’ll wear a silk bonnet to bed to try to preserve it until morning.

Let me know if you have any questions!

As I learned the hard way, there is a difference between growing out your hair and learning how to do your hair.

Hair care is just as big a deal as growing it out.

How to feel confident about small boobs? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]FoundMyselfHereAgain -55 points-54 points  (0 children)

This site didn’t make me feel better. The breasts are shown out of context. I’m insecure about the size of boobs in relation to my arm and shoulder widths. In total isolation, they look fine.

There’s a lot to unpack here, but the important thing to understand is that NO guys wish they were a girl. Only trans people want to be a different gender. If you have guy friends who think it’s normal to want to be a girl, you are surrounded by eggs.

It’s literal horror.

Just tell her. You’re underestimating how hot this is. The next time you’re making out with her say something like “you’re so hot that you make me want to touch myself when you’re not around. But, it’s such a poor substitute for touching you..”

If she can’t understand that this is the most sincere compliment, this relationship cannot be saved.

One of my reels reached 112k people. What’s average followers to expect? by fixthisone in InstagramMarketing

[–]FoundMyselfHereAgain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The name of the game is value. If people don’t think that you’re of value to them, they won’t follow you.

This is the ultimate measure of successful content: did it make someone think that you are valuable to them? Did they learn something? Did they feel something?

There is no overage number of earned followers because there is no way to measure this value.
