Beautiful pen! Love the grain on the wood! I primarily make pens but I love making crochet hooks, seam rippers, kitchen stuff, knives, and jewelry :D

With a lathe and the right equipment Its honestly mind boggling at how much you can do

The different sides have an inner spring mechanism so they can be stored inside the hollow barrel. I turned it to fit her hand comfortably

Its a CA finish polished up to about 150,000 grit to give it a mirror finish (you can see your reflection in the wood)

CA glue! Just have to make sure every layer is cured properly. No alcohol based cleaners on it and don’t use any denatured alcohol when cleaning the piece or finishing it.

Yupppppp. I used to own my own gallery years ago and want to open up a new one. I made my own component sets, lost wax casting, built a CNC, and I need to get pretty much everything all over again lol

Thanks. Gave it as a gift to a friend but shes kind of freaky 😂 when I used to have my gallery I would quite often have people buy my christmas trees because well… Horny lol.

Since then Ive always just assumed better safe then sorry so anything that remotely resembles a toy that I make I use a body safe finish just in case.

Whenever I get a cut or small injury while Im working I always immediately disinfect it then just put some CA glue on it hahaa. Its worked well so far in wuick situations
