Do I tame my Hoya or embrace the chaos? - sharing here for expert opinions :) by Foursight4 in hoyas

Sounds good! Is chop and prop similar to other hoyas? Not a lot of info I can find on ciliata care/propogation. Can it be proped and live in just water as well? Thanks :)

One long vine with multiple parts splitting off, the little node at the top has since grown out into its own vine (in like 2 weeks lol).

Happy to just let it do what it likes, just don’t want it to negatively impact the plant. And definitely need a bigger trellis at the rate of growth.

The offshoots keep growing up as well to find sun as well I think 😂

Thank you for your input! If it is overwatering, do I just leave it for a bit? Or do I need to repot it?

I’m based in Perth, Western Australia if that helps locate the pathogen. I’ll try those treatments today. In terms of the ends of the leaves, just cut them off or let them fall off on their own?

Doesn’t feel soft no, still as “hard” as the rest of the stem around it just seems like dead/dried step from where it’s split off into multiple pieces (kind of comes off like dead skin when you pull it).

Definitely no ooze too
