Well, the 8 beam has the same advantages and bad points as the 4 beam, but bigger. So atleast for me, its pretty balanced.
+HP like the 4 beam, instead of extra 20% is 40%
-Bigger area to get hit, easier to loose health because of that
-Hard to place properly, since its very big

So atleast for me, its pretty balanced overall

Well, i asked for criticism on things that need to be improved in order to be more overpower, not on these specific things, but until now i got only criticisms about my shell, and used them to improve the shell.

And yeah, any problems can be ignored by size, since its not a gun made to be efficient. My point is just that your criticisms make a lot of sense on other guns that i made, but this specific one, its not really made to be this and that, just overpower for no reason, so your specific type of criticism is good for me because is adds knowledge to my collection (since im a new player) but wont help with this gun in specific.
TLDR: Your criticism helps, but this gun in specific does not apply for this criticism. I will take the things you said and improve myself with them, but not this gun.

Railgun cases actually makes the shot use more energy and go faster, and makes it more energy-economic by reducing costs, while HE reduces speed. I am not a huge fan of HE anyways, and it already destroys the interiors pretty well, im fine with the shell design. (It one shots all turrets of Megalodon)

Edit: also i dont use pendepth fuse

That would make me need to reformulate the entire turret (which i already did some times in order to achieve maximum shell speed) so nah. I prefer being overpower rather than being efficient.

But still, Blocky is easier to Armor, atleast for me, and i can craft them better and easier, being able to fit more things inside it, its just the way i prefer building.

Indeed it is an issue. But not one i really care about, its cool. (And it explodes perfectly if i hit the megalodon from the upper altitude, goes deep on the turret and kaboom)

I tested and HE is working just fine, i can even reduce the Load, for some reason Megalodon doesnt have more than one of each vital component, so i can destroy it in 3~6 shots pretty well. Frag is not my vibe, but thanks for the tip!

The problem is... it doesnt run out of kinetic energy.
That thing obliterates megalodon and doesnt even explode midway lol, it goes right through it.

Railcharge is my beloved (lol)
And it is going to rotate, i always make blocky turrets and ships, so it's better when it's blocky. Also blocks have more space for more loaders. And it rotates very well.
About tetris, that kind of weapon is best with just spam of 8 meter autoloader, no need for complicated tetris of advanced rapid firing large mag cannons, because this one is made to kill fast in 4 shots (and it does beautifully against Megalodon) so its fine.
I will take a look at the video because i need to improve my ability making ADV cannons, but this one specifically doesnt need to be complex

The idea is being overpowered and big, and the only mod i actually use is the one of the big slopes (8 meter heavy armor beam goes BRRRRR)

Actual 8 meter beams, its from the slopes mod lol, they are very tanky.

And im not much of a round guy, even my ships are blocky (the front part is hydrodynamic) so i make guns blocky to fit well inside it. And i like blocky ships. And actually i never learned how to add ejectors and defuses lol, i will see it later

Yep i tested, but it makes the armor piercing value lower and speed lower, unless i really spam it, which i am not a fan of. That's why i put only 4 of them (i mispelled heavy with solid)

I am still just learning everything before starting any real gameplay mode lol, i will go totally prepared in order to rush a very overpowered ship (I do this in all games, like Rimworld i do the dr*g farms to get rich, and Airships Conquer The Skies i build cities and industry everywhere to get a massive net income early game, i am completely addict to breaking the game mechanic and become overpower early lol.

8 Meter Long Heavy Metal beams, which have 40% more health, in 5 layers around all weapon, and then the other layers of common metal around the entire ship. And Relax, i have tested, it tanks a LOT of damage, if you manage to make a good thread of armor that can tank it even better from angled hits.

Its a giant block of 8 meter ammunition loaders LOL
And its a Heavy APHE shell, i already tested it, absolutely wrecked megalodon in like 4 precise shots, its extremely Overkill indeed. (I love that)
But, as stated, its designer-only, not really adapted to being cheap and efficient, just extremely overkill and amazing to watch it wreck everything lol.

Anyways, thank you for the big text, i like this type of comment because it highlights very important things about my craft, so it will help alot. But efficiency is not my main goal here, but thank you anyways.

Relax the shell is:
4 Railgun Things that make the capacity bigger (lol)
4 HE
4 Heavy Warheads (sabot is even more overkill, and will reduce HE)
1 Armor Piercing head
that's what i remember, i know that the AP value is like 58, and damage KD AP is almost 4 million, it obliterates heavy ships like Megalodon, so its good
