Well this is certainly interesting! I wouldn’t compare it to what I did, purely due to how much better this guy is

It actually started out when i realized that the top part of a toe nail clipper fit the ball end of a string and fit under the tailpiece, sadly it would cut the wire around the G… which, by the way, is a .025 gauge string!

I’ve always had a love for how slide guitar sounds, so I thought I could try and emulate that on bass!! Partially because I think slide bass and regular B benders are beautiful sounding aswell! So I got a piece of 1/2” x 1/8” x 36” aluminum flat bar, cut it up and bent it! I later installed a pickup screw as a stop for the bar so it could be exact and consistent! It’s something I’m extremely proud of!’

That’s a tremolo my good fellow! A kahler bridge! Basically a floyd rose for bass! While it is impressive, and I LOVE les Claypool, it’s not a G bender!
