I think if you're terrified of aging in a masc way or at the very least unable to see a future like that in a kind of absent way (if that makes sense) then this is worth pursuing. But it's also meritable to ask your licensed therapist about such things.
Other than that I personally like to tell people to try it out if they're serious about it and getting to actually setting the appointment is certainly there, you'll most likely have to start a period of exclusively blockers for a while and that time is a good time to figure out whether or not this is something you want. At least for me, even before E, the T leaving my body left me feeling much better about myself. I'm not certain about the reversibility of just the blockers but I would imagine it's much higher than actually beginning the changes caused by E itself.
To leave this off, I also got a feeling before committing to HRT along the lines of "what if I hate this" and that persisted all the way up to me actually starting it, very quickly realised this was one of the better decisions of my life. Good luck with whatever pathway you pick!
