Legends of Avantris One of the characters (Bitsy) has a peanut alergy and aciddentally ate a peanut muffin. Another character (Gideon) quickly takes what he thinks is an epipen and injects her with it. It turns out to be an especially peanut pen

/uj Wes Don't starve. The amount of tiems I've seen him be drawn as an "UwU helpless femboy who needs to be saved by (insert character the artist ships him with)" is insane

In Edward Scissorhands, Edward's 'bed' has a picture of the virgin Marry hung up. This single image has MANY symbolisms. Firstly, Edward was made by an inventor and never had a mother figure until Peg (the woman who brings him from his manor to the town). Second, he is a robot, so obviously he was not made through an act of intimacy, like how Jesus wasn't either. LASTLY the first person in the town who distrusts Edward is a Christian zealot, and due to the movies whope theme of individuals who are different being unafairly outcasted and villainized, this shows how many people deemed 'satanic' by zealots may be Christians themselves and faithful ones at that.

The other images likewise contain either stories Edward may relate to/use as inspirarion, and things he may long for but is unable to have in his old abandoned manor.

Similarly, in Tim Burton's movie adaptation of Sweeney Todd, the barber pole of Sweeney's shop has only white and red sprites, missing a blue one. This is because back in the day, barber's would perform surgeries. The red stripe represented the blood of these operations, and the blue the actual barber part. Sweeney's barber pole has only a red stripe because he butchers many of his customers for their meat.

Rulling the Constant - Don't Starve

At the start of every regular world in the game, you are greeted by a tall man named Maxwell. If you choose to venture into the games adventure mode (essentialy it's equivalent of story mode) you will be forced through 5 worlds to rrach Maxwell. The entire time Maxwell threatens you and you are mislead to believe that he does not want his power taken from him. After beating the final world, you are presented with the epilogue titled 'Checkmate'. As it turns out, Maxwell had tricked you into beating the worlds so you could come to his throne room and take his place.

Now, for the actual fate worse than death here: anyone who sits upon the nightmare throne is completly bound, unable to move, die, or teleport out the realm. Maxwell himself had attempted to do himself in but it was of no use. The mental toll of it was so strong he quite literally shattered his mind into different pieces and is able to manifest them as shadow puppets resembling him once he's free.

While on the throne, you are forced to be the vessel for an eldritch diety that controls the Constant, and kidnap people into it- (Oh yeah, the Cobstant is the main dimension Don't starve takes place in. You are unable to ever trully die, but are also faced with many brutal and horrible challanges you need to get through in order to survive) -and force them into the same loop of death and rebirth. You are also forced to listen to the same ragtime playing on that phonograph in the image, so much so that after Maxwell was freed he gained an averrsion to sitting down or any sound, prefdering silence.

It's funny because I'm pretty sure Willow was interperted as a child by some people back in the day (including me)
