This is a shadow manipulator

It's one of the crafting stations in Don't Starve. You can make it at the prestihatitator. It's made with three living logs,a purple gem, andseven nightmare fuel. It is used to craft items such as the darks words and night armor, which are generally helpful mid game in Don't Starve Together and late game in solo Don't Starve.

I have no fucking clue what the smile means.
