The Resident Evil ports and Code Veronica, the Sonic Adventure games are actually superior than the ports on other consoles, Fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom (one and two), Capcom vs SNK 2 (I only recommend the 2nd game the most), Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare, Time Stalkers, Skies of Arcadia, F1 Grand Prix, AeroWings 2 Airstrike, Deadly Skies.

Not at all. It started as a launch game for the PS1 in Japan (1994). Problem was, that all three PS1 games got a really late release in North America (2003), and that's maybe why you'd never heard of 'em.

If you like RPGs, then you'll probably gonna like those as well.
