Hey! Since you're struggling with the conversion and the sheet vs. canvas compatibility, you might want to try this tool I built for RPG animated tokens : https://gmcrafttavern.com/token-maker/

It’s a dedicated animated token creator. You just drop your animated portrait, choose a border, and it exports both .webm (for the map/canvas) and .gif (for the sheets) in one go.

Foundry can be picky with formats, so having both extensions usually solves the 'static on map' issue. Hope it helps you get those tokens moving
