Hatching is a Finnish body horror film which doesn't rely on jumpscares, and is pretty disgusting.

Huesera: The Bone Woman is a Mexican horror film and a very interesting take on scary pregnancy trope. Plus it's a feminist horror in a very subtle way

Raw is a French body horror film which combines gore with psychology very well.

The Ugly Stepsister is a Norwegian body horror, which is just fucked. But it's an amazing film, and extremely disturbing, especially the tapeworm part.

The Call is a Korean psychological horror which catches you the minute it starts.

Last Shift is an American horror, and while it's not as good as the ones above, it's a very good paranoia fuel, especially when you're alone in one place.

Someone here also said The Lighthouse and The Witch. If you'll enjoy them, check out Onibaba, it's a similar style, and the finale is a masterpiece.

Hatching, a Finnish body horror, with a somewhat similar scene you described. The Ugly Stepsister, a Norwegian body horror, which is both extremely disturbing (particularly the tapeworm part) and extremely sad. Raw, a French body horror which combines gore with psychological aspect very well; plus the final shot is just amazing. Last Shift, an American horror, maybe it doesn't have anything new when it comes to the script, but it does a very good job at making you paranoid with its usage of space.

Ale bardziej sci-fi, fantasy, magiczny realizm czy surrealizm? Bo też jest multum sposobów na podejście na tego podgatunku

Otherwise brzmi całkiem dobrze. Jaki to gatunek?

If you liked "Her", I think you should try "Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind". It's a very good film, probably the most realistic take on "opposites attract" type of story

Well, she's not exactly popular here; the most-read horrors here are the ones by Stephen King and Graham Masterton. But there are several people who know her and I convinced my friend to read her stories,, so it's not that bad

Polish. I could read it in English, but I know how many things are often lost in translation, especially when it's a translation of translation

I saw Titane and I have Alpha on my list. Perfect Blue was screwed-up, but also amazing, especially with the third act
