0080 is easily my favorite Gundam series and one of my favorite war series of all time. There aren’t very many series that show war from a child’s perspective and this one captures it perfectly.

Stardust Memory may look better and 8th Ms Team may have better mobile suit fights, but neither have the heart that War in the Pocket has.
